The clocks and pocket watches contained in the museum's collection contain examples of excuisite clocks made in America, England, France and Germany - and magnificant pocket watches from both European and virtually every American watchmaker and manufacturer.

The items contained in the collection are generally the highest grade and best quality of each manufacturer; however, important common clocks and watches are included as well - not only to illustrate the range of products made, but also to stress the commercial importance of low grade, inexpensive time pieces.
